Supply Chain Coordinator

We are looking to recruit a Supply Chain Coordinator based at our Skipton site.

Purpose of Role

To oversee the Supply Chain of all componentry and ingredients coming into Health Innovations.   The Supply Chain Co-ordinator will ensure availability on a JIT basis, and will be responsible for ensuring accurate stock information is available for all stakeholders. They will proactively manage stock levels, identifying those products at risk of becoming residual and minimising any write-offs. We are looking for a Supply Chain Coordinator to join our Operations team.

 

The main responsibilities of the role are:

To ensure that all componentry is available to enable Production and Manufacturing Plans to go ahead

Alongside our Suppliers, the Supply Chain Coordinator will maintain optimum stock levels on site, and for call-off and in collaboration with Commercial and Technical departments, protect our Supply Chain by sourcing secondary suppliers of raw materials

To purchase items that meet commercial criteria, and find opportunities to improve margins by saving cost

To maintain Sage and other company platforms with correct purchasing information

To lead our Stock Take and Cycle Count program

To define and report on Purchasing KPI’s, evaluating data to drive effective efficient decision making.

Development of robust Systems that improve the efficiency and data integrity of the Purchasing Function

Collaborating closely with the Warehouse Team, planning deliveries, making best use of warehouse space and driving improvement

 

Skills, knowledge, experience, attitude:

Graduate calibre

5 years Manufacturing Purchasing Experience

Strong IT skills, particularly excel, and experience in Sage Accounts and Manufacturing preferable

Flexible, can-do attitude

Confident Communicator

Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work with a wide range of people

Strong time management skills

 

Working Hours

This role is 37.5 hours a week, Monday-Thursday 08:30-17:00, Friday 08:30-15:45.
