Health Innovations has extended its Skipton based operation with a £3m investment in the opening of an additional site adjacent to its existing tablet manufacturing plant.

The new state of the art building has been designed and built to provide storage, manufacturing and packaging facilities to service a growing demand in the healthcare sector.

The site achieved accreditation against the British Retail Consortium Global Standard for Food Safety in March 2020 and is now operational.

 

In a statement on the completion of the new building, Health Innovations Managing Director, Clare Campbell, said “The increase in capacity that this new site brings will allow us to more closely align our services with customer needs whilst launching new innovative Healthcare products into the market. It also provides us with the opportunity to support the considerable increased demand for immunity supplements which has been driven by Covid-19 in recent months”.

 

 

 

Additional investments are planned for 2021, which will allow further expansion of manufacturing capabilities to meet the growing demand for nutritional supplements, whilst also creating more jobs within the local area.
