Manufacturing Technician (Lean Manufacturing Operative Apprentice) 1 – 2 years. Level 2

We currently have a new exciting apprenticeship opportunity.
This role covers all areas of the manufacture of tablets and powders. Whilst it may focus on one operational area, it is not exclusive to that. The manufacturing Technician’s role is a key part of the business. You learn the whole process from dispensing to coating.
The Role:
• Strip down, set up, and cleaning of the various machines used to meet SOP/BRC/QA standards
• Ensure expected output is achieved through careful attention to all quality procedures
• Work individually and as part of a team to complete production batched in order to meet targets and deadlines
• Ensure all administration is connected with the process is done at the correct time and accurately, reconciling all ingredients and products
• Ensure that all machines are operating correctly – reporting all defects/improvement areas as necessary
You will study the Level 2 Lean Manufacturing Operative apprenticeship scheme, with a local training provider.
Applicants must have English and Maths GSCE at grade 4 or higher. This role is perfect for someone with no prior working experience or a recent college leaver.
