We are looking for manufacturing operators to join our growing team on our Morning Shift, Monday-Friday.
This role covers all areas of the manufacture of tablets within the business. Whilst it may focus on one operational area, it is not exclusive to that. The manufacturing operator’s role is a key part of the business and you as an individual will be expected to contribute ideas for improvements in processes and efficiencies.
Key Responsibilities:
• Strip down, set up, and cleaning of the various machines used to meet SOP/BRC/QA standards
• Ensure expected output is achieved through careful attention to all quality procedures
• Work individually and as part of a team to complete production batched in order to meet targets and deadlines
• Ensure all administration is connected with the process is done at the correct time and accurately, reconciling all ingredients and products
• Ensure that all machines are operating correctly – reporting all defects/improvement areas as necessary
Dispensing
• Dispensing and blending of powder recipes in line with the recipe provided
Pressing
• Operation of a compression machine to compress cores to the correct weight, size, and hardness ready for coating
Coating
• Run a coating machine to film coat various sizes and shapes of cores to achieve the correct weight and appearance
